There is much to see and do in the show site area. Portland Oregon, a celebrated large city of over 1.5 million people and an active nightlife is 10 miles from the show site. Well known for its seafood, many microbrews, wine country, book stores and coffee shops, it is also home to expansive shopping and entertainment.
The Cascade Mountains with their peaks well over 10,000 feet elevation are as close as 60 miles away with skiing year round at Mt. Hood on a permanent glacier. The Pacific Ocean coastal beaches are 80 miles to the West with a quiet get-away-from-it-all atmosphere.
