Has served in several offices in Kuvasz Club of America as well as the Malibu Kennel including two terms as President of the KCA. Has also served as a member of the American Kennel Club Trial Board. Past show chairman for KCA nationals and all breed shows.

First dog was a Golden Retriever in 1976. Took her through to UD title. Conformation with Goldens in 1982. First Kuvasz in 1986 (Ch Oakhill's Panache O'Gypsy Wind). Have been active in obedience training (certified by National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors) and showing. Have bred both Golden and Kuvasz champions. In addition to Judges' Ed committee currently serving KCA as Board Member, Chairman of the Health Committee, Specialty 2003 committee member, Specialty Policy. Owned kuvaszok since 1982. Joined KCA shortly thereafter. Have bred, trained, and handled our own dogs exclusively. Also handle other breeds for friends. Have bred nine litters and produced a small but respectable number of conformation champions, group placers, and obedience title holders. Served on the KCA board and as it's Health Chair for five years. Have served on the Judge's Education Council since its inception, and have also served on the nominating committee and as specialty obedience chair. Co-chair of 2004 national specialty.
